Role Overview:
We are seeking a driven, innovative, and energetic marketing leader, with a talent for getting things done.
This individual is a team player, responsible for the scalable and repeatable process of creating a sales pipeline by guiding leads from top of the funnel through to sales conversion. You will oversee key aspects of our marketing strategy to achieve revenue goals that support the company’s fast-paced growth. This includes demand generation, channel marketing, brand and PR.
This position requires an individual who is creative, data-driven in their decision-making process, and well versed in marketing strategy. The candidate must have a firm grasp of marketing best practices, yet also live and breathe pipeline generation.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong success record of building measurable demand for B2B SaaS companies and a passion for developing and leading a multi-disciplined team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Define, own, and lead the overarching marketing strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring it encompasses demand generation, brand building, public relations, and partner enablement. This includes hands-on involvement in execution and tactical delivery.
- Drive Demand Generation & Pipeline Creation: Lead all initiatives to generate qualified leads and contribute significantly to sales pipeline, including digital marketing, content marketing, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, events, and account-based marketing (ABM).
- Cultivate Partner Channel Strategy: Design and implement a robust marketing strategy specifically for channel partners, equipping them with the necessary tools, content, and support to effectively market and sell products/services.
- Lead and Mentor Marketing Team: Develop, and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment, while also being willing to roll up sleeves and contribute directly.
- Budget Management & ROI Analysis: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and continuously tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the ROI of all marketing activities.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and other departments to ensure marketing efforts are integrated and contribute directly to overall business success.
- Oversee Brand & Public Relations: Protect and enhance the company's brand reputation, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. Manage all PR activities, media relations, thought leadership, and industry analyst engagements.
Skills and Experience:
- B2B SaaS Expertise: 5+ years driving growth in B2B SaaS environments.
- Pipeline Generation: Deep expertise in demand generation (digital, content, SEO/SEM, ABM) and optimizing conversion funnels.
- Strategic & Analytical Leadership: Ability to craft comprehensive marketing strategies, make data-driven decisions, manage budgets, and demonstrate ROI.
- Brand & Partner Channel Acumen: Skilled in brand management, PR, and developing effective channel marketing and partner enablement strategies.
- Collaborative & Influential: Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, communicate exceptionally, and lead diverse teams.
- Hands-on Execution & Adaptability: Willingness and ability to be actively involved in the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives, demonstrate flexibility, and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Systems: Experienced with Salesforce, Chili Piper, and HubSpot.

Location:
Remote-based role. However, within commutable distance to Manchester would be desirable for the odd team-building activity / meeting.
